In today’s currency it probably cost Paul close to 3,000.00 to write and send his Letter to the Romans. By the time Paul dictated the letter, and after numerous edits, the time it took Paul to craft Romans was also quite lengthy. Although Romans is not a theological A – Z of Paul’s theology, it has always been a central text to the church’s New Testament experience. It also holds a special place in Methodist history as it was in hearing Luther’s preface to the Book of Romans that John Wesley felt his heart “strangely warmed.” For the next 16 weeks we will be living in the 16 chapters of Romans. I encourage you to dust off your Bibles or charge up your e-readers as we prepare to journey through Romans where we will certainly be challenged and comforted by this letter that was written in the late 50s AD.

I have lived in Orlando for almost one year. I am a member of First United Methodist Church in Fort Meade, Fl. I have been drawn to Life Song but illness kept me from attending previously, and of course now with covid, I have yet to attend. I have been waiting for the video to begin but apparently there is a problem. I fear I am fighting a draining time against satan and I need comfort from God’s people. I prefer viewing your services at this site and not facebook. Please let me know if this is possible. Thank you

I was able to view and hear the message this morning and I thank you for the opportunity to hear God’s word through your service. I needed this encouragement today more than you will ever know. The wall before me is high but I will continue to seek The Way THROUGH it, allowing Christ to burst through the doubt, the fear, the loneliness, and continue to lift me up so His reflection will be all I need to celebrate this life He gave to me. Thank you again. Please remember me in your prayers for healing.
